 Topic: Effective Children's Ministry

PRESENTERS:

		Mark Whitfield received a Bachelor of Science in Religion at Emmanuel College and a Master of Divinity in Theology at Erskine Theological Seminary. After graduating from Erskine Seminary in 1993, Mark worked with the Juvenile Services Division of the Methodist Home for Children. From 1995-2000 Mark worked as the Assistant Administrator and Director of Campus Life for Falcon Children's Home.
In 2000, he accepted the dual positions as Student Ministries Pastor and Church Ministries Development Pastor at Crossroads Ministries, in Broadway, North Carolina . He now serves as Executive Pastor of Crossroads Ministries. Mark and his wife Tracy have two girls, Taylor (4 years old) and Kristen (1 ½ years old).
		Rev. Dewey Ball was ordained with the PFWB Church in May 1995. Since then, he and wife, Virginia have pastored three churches. They currently pastor the Garland PFWB Church where they have been for 6 ½ years. Under their leadership, the Garland church has seen a tremendous increase in their youth program. They have gone from eighteen in attendance to 104 on Wednesday nights.
Virginia is very gifted in Music Ministry. She is a Choir Leader, and she plays the piano during the alter service. She is also the Wednesday night music teacher for their youth. In addition to this, Virginia is a Teacher Assistant at Warsaw Elementary School. Brother Dewey and Sister Virginia have one daughter and one granddaughter.
