Congratulations Millers Chapel PFWB Church. They currently have four active rangers and three commanders and this year decided to open the invitation to all men and boys of our church to camp with them at the Pow-Wow, in alignment with the theme. They were blessed to bring home 1st place in Camp Craft; 2nd place in First Aid; and last, but not least, 1st place in Bible Competition on the book of Ecclesiastes. The bible trophy has been a goal for their boys for many years and they have consistently placed 1st in six out of the last seven years. Great job boys and TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY!!!

2004 Cape Fear District Pow-Wow
November 13th, 2004

Pictures from the Pow-Wow

November 30, 2004

I would like to start out by saying thank you, to everyone who helped and participated in making our 4th annual Cape Fear District Pow-wow a great success. Despite the rainy weather on Friday, we had 175 men and boys registered that night, and by Saturday we had close to 200. God moved in a mighty way throughout the whole weekend and we were blessed by seeing numerous boys come to know Christ as their personal savior.

We also had about 300 visitors from Heritage Bible College come through the FCF village (many thanks to 3Hats and the guys for a great village). The rock wall was a big thrill for boys of all ages (including the older boys with some grey in the hair). Overall, despite the rain on Friday and the cold on Saturday the Lord blessed us with a great weekend. Please be sure to check out the pictures and see for yourself.

In closing I would like to thank everyone once again, without you the powwow would not have happened. Most of all I want to thank the Lord Jesus; without Him being the Master Ranger and laying down His life for us where would we all be?

Thank you and God bless
Bill Wood
Cape Fear District Commander

2003 Cape Fear District Pow-Wow

Held November 7, 8, & 9, 2003

at Crusader Youth Camp

I would like to say a big thank you to everyone that participated and helped in making our 2003 Cape Fear District pow-wow a great success. We had lots of fun with the FCF guys, made some new friends, ate some good food, and most important God was glorified and lost souls were won for the Kingdom of Heaven. Praise, honor, and glory be to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Bill Wood
