Our annual Men's conference was held on Friday, April 29th at the Stoney Run PFWB Church. Our guest speaker for the event was Rev. David Nitz of the Church of God. Music for the event was provided by Ryan Barbados and the Worship team from Crossroads fellowship.

The Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Men’s Conference was a great success.  Two of our own presented the breakout sessions.  It was the first time Pastor Dolan Williams has been a presenter for us.  The response to Dolan has been great.  Some of those attending returned home with Dolan’s challenge to them and began immediately to put into practice things learned in the conference.  Dolan is a quality young PFWB man with something to offer to our people and beyond.

Pastor Paul Backlund, author and seminar speaker, again blessed our people with his seasoned experience and sensitive heart to the needs in today’s troubled economic times.   Paul gave practical insight to our men to apply in their struggles of life.   You will be blessed to have each of these men in your church.

Of course Bishop Larry Jackson, a Promise Keeper and seminar speaker, blessed our men.   We want to commend Dock Hobbs and the team that led our men’s conference this year.  Pastor Johnny Peterson, Pastor Chris Searles, and Pastor Murray King assisted Dock in organizing and leading the conference.

Pastor Paul Backlund blessed our men in our 2007 Men’s Conference. This Conference reflects some of the quality we have across our denomination in speakers and music. The music program was presented from the music ministry of Crossroads Ministries PFWB Church. No one could have done better than our singers and speaker. Every session was filled with quality and quantity of material that inspired and enabled our men to return home with a greater appreciation for their role as husbands, fathers, and leaders. Special Thanks to Paul for a great job and thanks to the great ministry in music.

PFWB Men's Conference 2003
September 12 & 13, 2003

The Men's Conference for 2003 was a phenomenal success. On Friday evening we had over 550 men and boys in attendance. We estimate 350-400 in attendance on Saturday morning.

Mr. Jack Kelly was an enthusiastic speaker with lots of good information to share with us on how to begin a mens group in the local church. Reve. Steve Dixon brought a message from II Kings 6 that won souls to Christ in the conference. Brother Steve uses humor and seriousness to make his points in the message that will hold the attention of everyone. We are very honored to have Brother Dixon as a Pentecostal Free Will Baptist minister. Our keynote speaker, Rev. Doug Small, was a great blessing to our men. Brother Small brought our men to decisions about their lives and responsibilities as husbands and fathers. He emphasized the role of the father as the priest of the family. No one left without wanting to be a better husband and father.

I must thank Rev. Randy Barker for the well-organized schedule and quality participants in the program. Rev. Wiley (Buster) West must be commended for the quality music in the conference. All of the task force must be remembered for the time, talent, and attention they gave to the various details in making this a conference in which we can all be proud.
