2009 New River District Campmeeting

New River District had an awesome camp meeting celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.  Attendance and offering were an all time record.  Most of all the spirit of worship caused people to hunger to return each night.  Several reports of people receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit have come in.  Offerings of $8,426.32 were designated toward the Resource Center Facility.  Pastors brought offerings from their church to include in the over all giving.  Their goal to make one payment was more than doubled before the week closed.   In addition, a challenge was issued to churches to make one payment of $3888.11 per year toward the Resource Center’s indebtedness.   Pastors are now taking the challenge back to their church.  The Christian Life Fellowship has made a commitment of one payment per year.  Appreciation goes out to all pastors, churches, leaders, and people in the New River District Camp Meeting for the commitment and hard work in making it a tremendous success and blessing in many ways.

 

Praise God for His great blessings on our 2005 New River District Camp Meeting. The anointing on the worship was heavenly and the preaching was so inspirational. We have reports of 4 to 5 people being saved and at least one miraculous healing.

The North East PFWB Church hosted this camp meeting. Various ministers spoke in the evening worship and a choir composed of members from different churches sang each evening. This camp meeting provided us all with a great opportunity for fellowship as well as spiritual renewing.

God also blessed in meeting the expenses of the Camp Meeting. Our on-hand balance before the 2005 Camp Meeting was $500; offerings during the Camp Meeting were $1630.48; expenses were $1450. We now have on-hand $680.48. Praise God!
