Wake Pointe Church was planted by Reverend Randy Carter in Raleigh, NC in April of 2005.
They have a solid core of approximately 50 people in attendance. Rev. Carter reports that they are looking for facilities near Wake Forest, where they believe God is leading them to reach the lost. Pray that they can find the facility that they are in need of.
In April 2006, Wake Pointe Church had “Friends Day” with 75 in attendance with two cell groups each week.
The church is doing well and has between 40 to 50 in attendance. The church is now in a new location at the Wake Forest / Rolesvile Middle School 1800 South Main Street Wake Forest.
WAKEPOINTS LAUNCH SUNDAY A SUCCESS!
Thousands of dollars, hundreds of phone calls, dozens of mailings, and untold hours of work...so, was it worth it?
On Sunday, September 16th WakePointe Church celebrated its "Launch Sunday" and had its largest Sunday attendance since the small core group of about 30 began meeting nearly three years ago. On Launch Sunday there were 68 adults in the sanctuary and another 13 children and adults in the children's department for a total of 81. Pastor Randy estimates that there were 20 new adults in the service that day as a direct result of a phone campaign. One of the best things is that all of the visitors filled out a response card thus allowing the church to follow up with them. 6 out of 10 couples who filled out a card expressed an interest in small group ministry and the best number of all - 2 of the first time attendees indicated a decision to accept Jesus Christ as their personal savior!
According to Pastor Randy, "We prayed that God would send us the people He wanted us to have at this time and apparently, He knew we needed 10 new families. Now, it is our prayer that God will enable us to incorporate these precious families into our church family."
