This newsletter is my way of sharing with our members in the USA about all that is happening in the missions work that I am involved with in the Northern Philippines. It is my hopes that this quarterly newsletter will be a blessing to you and will stir you to pray for the work in the Philippines as we work to win the lost to Christ.

In addition to prayer, it is my hope that churches will work to partner with their Filipino PFWB churches. This networking can offer encouragement and blessings to all involved and can stir the US church to get involved in missions work. I believe that a church that helps a poor counterpart in other parts of the world is actually bringing blessings not only to the foreign church and people but also to the giving church itself!

Proverbs 19:17 says, “He who is kind to the poor lends to the LORD”

Your church, no matter the size, can make a HUGE impact in the Philippines by giving.

See below for opportunities to help or email me for other opportunities. I do hope that this is informative and worthwhile. Please let me know your thoughts. God bless.

I want to personally thank any of the churches that committed to projects and helped with the needs at Harvesters. While we made progress when Bro. Joseph was in the USA at Camp Meeting, there were still some projects that went without sponsors. Won’t you consider helping out? Our first focus will be for renovations at the bible college in Candon City. Your assistance will go a long way in making life better for our brothers and sisters in the Philippines and will be an investment in the kingdom! Should you desire to help, please send donations earmarked for the project to our World Witness Missions department and they will see it gets to the Philippines or you can donate online.

Thanks so much for your help. God bless… Ray

Computer & Projector for training, meetings and student activities (Harvesters): Preferably a laptop and 1500-2000 lumen projector. This will be used in the main sanctuary at Harvesters Bible Academy for training seminars, etc. Approx cost: $700 for laptop and $800 for projector. ($1500 total)

Basic Repairs of Sanctuary and Buildings of Harvesters: Wooden eaves of sanctuary are deteriorated and need to be replaced and painted; general painting of many of the buildings; chain link fence for dorm areas: Approx cost: $600

Recreational Area repairs and items: Repair of student basketball court, new nets and backboards; recreational items such as basketballs, horseshoes, volleyball; badminton rackets and birdies; intramural team shirts; benches for sitting areas outside the dorms. Approx. Cost: $500 (NOTE: Harvesters competes in annual Inter-Bible Colleges Sports Competition and currently are the reigning champions among all the bible colleges participating)

Sidewalks: Need sidewalks poured from edge of entrance to bible college going to the dorms and then to the chapel and also from the Staff cottages to the kitchen area. Also, from the boys and girls dormitory to the shower rooms. These areas are very flooded during the rainy season and the sidewalks would allow students and staff to get around without walking through a lot of mud. Approx cost: $700

We are blessed beyond measure when we compare to others around the world. Won’t you consider helping out with one of these projects? The Lord will certainly bless you!

Kitchen Area Repairs: Add additional lighting; cabinets need to be installed; walls need painting; Student store repairs – includes painting; shelving; storage area, ceiling fans in areas. Approx. cost $600

Air Conditioning for Sanctuary: 4 upright air conditioners to be installed in the main sanctuary. These will be used for national conferences and district fellowship when attendance is standing room only. Temperatures in Candon, PI reach upwards of 105 degrees F! This would be a great blessing for the attendees to make the meetings more comfortable. Approx. cost $2500

Computer Room and Library upgrades: 2 additional desktop computers; networking to library computers; painting of rooms; building of cubicle work stations for computers. The computers and internet access is available to all students for learning purposes and to all PFWB ministers for email access. Our goal is to teach pastors how to use the internet and increase communication with USA churches. Approx. Cost $1000.00
